The Prophet Muhammed Muslims believe the last prophet to be sent by Allah was The Prophet Muhammed Muslims believe the last prophet to be sent by Allah was Muhammed. For them, he is the Seal of the Prophets, the final vessel through which Allah’s messages were conveyed. During his life, Muhammed received a series of revelations from Allah. These were written down to form the Qur’an. Muhammed remains of great importance to Muslims today. There are many stories told about his life and teachings that help Muslims to understand the kind of person he was and how they should aspire to live their lives. To show their respect for the Prophet, when Muslims say the name of Muhammed, they usually say “peace be upon him” straight afterwards.
