Lord Byron was an English poet and a leading figure in the Romantic movement. He died at 36 years of age from a fever contracted while in Missolonghi in Greece. The poet took part in the Greek Revolution. At the University of Cambridge Byron deepened his scientific knowledge. he excelled art swim, ride, boxing, drinking, playing cards and so on, so the Lord is constantly in need of money. Early career
Byron wrote a few poems, and in 1807 appeared in print his first book — «Hours of idleness» . Byron became a different person. In June 1809 Byron went on a journey. February 27, 1812 Byron said in the House of Lords his first speech, which had great success
A trip to Greece and death The quiet, family life, however, did not save Byron from anguish and anxiety. In 1821 Byron suggested that he was forgotten in England. Byron really started to lose their popularity. But at this time the Greek rebellion broke out. he decided to go and with a passionate impatience began to prepare for his departure. In Missolongi Byron became ill with fever. During the walk it was rain ing , and Byron finally fell ill. His last words were fragmentary phrases: «My sister! my child!. . poor Greece!. . I gave it time, state health!. . Now give her a life! «. April 19, 1824 the poet died.
