Astana became the capital of Kazakhstan in 1997. Our young capital — a symbol of creation, creativity and progress of the people of Kazakhstan. Astana was founted in 1830. In 1961 Akmola was named in Tcelinograd.

In developing the architectural concept of the city was taken into account the idea of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to grant the city of the Eurasian appearance. The modern capital of Kazakhstan is growing and changing, becoming more attractive for residents of Kazakhstan and foreign guests.

The modern architectural style, which intertwined the best traditions of European and Oriental culture, most fully reflects the new face of the capital as the center of economy, politics and cultures.

In record time, has changed the urban landscape, and the city continues to be built dynamically. Changed and night decoration of the city — a night appearance of the capital, artful illumination of buildings, lights, street lights, garlands, colorful fountains on the river Ishim seafront lights, bright windows of shops, bars and nightclubs.
