Chair’s Report • A very busy year with the 10 th Anniversary of the Chair’s Report • A very busy year with the 10 th Anniversary of the Going Carbon Neutral project, installation of a second solar PV array on the village school and intense media activity during the summer and autumn. • Seven formal Board meetings were held in 2015/16 plus continuous contact between Directors AHCE C. Chair’s Report • 21 Aug 16 New York Times front page article appears sparking Chair’s Report • 21 Aug 16 New York Times front page article appears sparking a flurry of media interest with interviews completed during September and October for: – BBC NW, World Service and 5 Live , Telegraph, Times, Granada TV, Chasing Tomorrow, CNN, Tribune de Geneve, La Libre Belgique, Deutsche Welle Radio, curbed. com, positive. news, Global News TV Canada and the Swedish Government. • 15 October: We hosted the 2 nd annual CWa. C Community Energy Conference at the village school • 26 October: Garry and Alex gave a presentation in London to a delegation from the Indian Climate Parliament Group AHCE C. I. C. Chair’s Report - New PV at School • This was a major undertaking and Chair’s Report - New PV at School • This was a major undertaking and we are very grateful for hard work and support from: Mary Gillie (project planning) Graeme Raine (Raine and Shine; PV supply and installation) Scottish. Power Energy Networks (cable and grid connection) Dominic Mc. Dermott (trench works) Nature. Save (£ 500 grant toward trench works) and Kate Harrison for securing this – Matt Hover and Doreen Salt (coordinating work at the school) – CWa. Chair’s Report - New PV at School • We pre-registered the panels with Ofgem Chair’s Report - New PV at School • We pre-registered the panels with Ofgem in September 2015 and thus were able to obtain that month’s Feed in Tariff rate of 11. 71 p/k. Wh and Export tariff of 4. 91 p/k. Wh for the next 20 years from Co-operative Energy. • The school now gets more free electricity. AHCE C. I. C. Company No: 07827243
